The initiative seeks donations in kind and in closed shoes to donate to orphanages and poverty stricken areas in the country. Cynthia Nabwire, chief coordinator and founder of Kiatu Nipe had this to say:
"The support was overwhelming. I had seen what Cecelia Mwangi had done for the Anti-Jigger campaign and I was moved. This is our way of finishing what she is doing. The people get to be jigger free, and by us providing them with shoes, we make sure that they stay that way."
Susan Mumbua made a donation on behalf of PMG worth Ksh 500,000 and presented the shoes that members of staff had donated.

"It's this part of the job that I love the most. Giving back to society," she said.
