Platinum Media Group was founded in 2000 by Lilian Koki (C.E.O) and Susan Mumbua (V. P). They have served as media professionals in various capacities in several Kenyan media houses. The two decided to start their own media house with the aim of providing wholesome media products so as to empower the everyday Kenyan.

A newspaper that provides extensive news coverage on a variety of topics affecting Kenya and the world. Founded in 2001, it boasts a daily circulation of 305,000 papers.
Sauti Fm is a radio station that targets the youth that was begun in 2003. The station plays a wide range of music genres and has exciting radio shows. It is the leading youth radio station in Kenya today according to Synnovate.
The Forum is a weekly online newsletter and employee blog (originally in print) that provides organizational news to employees and PMG's publics. It is also a place where PMG employees can address any issues that may be facing them in the company.
4. National Broadcasting Network (NBN)
This is the latest PMG product. It is a 24 hour television station that broadcasts local, international content and extensive daily news broadcasts.
